I thought this week that I would do something a little different. We have been eating at home so much more than we used to. I think we are down to eating out once a week.
This week I have planned:
Monday: Meatball Subs w/ Oven Fries
Tuesday: Bean & Cheese Enchiladas w/ Spanish Rice
Wednesday: Dinner at the Church
Thursday: Eat Out
Friday: Mediterrian Chicken (crockpot)
Dinner at the church...every Wednesday, the church that we take a class at offers dinner for a free will donation. Last week was our first week that we went and it was awesome! They served Taco Pie, Salad, Chips and Queso and homemade Cheesecake along with Truffles, Cake Balls and Cream Puffs. It was so good.
I haven't scrapped much this month, in fact I think I have only done 4 layouts. I just haven't been motivated and my workload has almost doubled. I am the type of person who has to have a plan or it all goes to hell...and that is where I am. My plan for this week is to get my workload under control and make it work the best way that I can. Wish me luck and I will be back in a few days with a Sassy Layout!

Homecoming 2010
It seems like school just started and we are already in full swing of school activities around my house. My youngest daughter is in Cross Country so my weekends that were filled with Band Activities a few years back has been replaced with Cross Country activities.
The one activity that came super fast this year was Homecoming. Only 3 weeks into school and we were in a mad rush for hair appointments, last minute shopping and coordinating times to meet so we could take pictures. This was the 1st year ever since my daughters started high school 5 yrs ago that I have not bought the photos from the school. This year it just wasn't in the budget...besides that I ♥ my background even more. The theme this year was Broadway.
Amber - this is her Senior year. I can't believe this time has come already. Before I know it we will be at the stadium in a sea of blue and white with gowns and tassles and it will be over. One thing that I will admit though, I can't wait to shop for prom dresses :) Amber took her boyfriend Kyle to homecoming and they really make a cute couple.
Samantha - a freshman this year. I can't believe that in 4 years all my babies will have graduated. When they are little it seems so far away but really...its not. Time flies. Samantha took her friend Travis this year.
This week for My Sketch World was my 1st reveal as a new DT member. I was super excited and at a loss for my photo that I would use until Homecoming came around!

I used Black and French Vanilla Bazzill, Autumn Leaves Music Paper, American Crafts ribbon, Jolee's "On the town" Embellishments. Letters are fabric Thickers topped with Glossy Accents.

Life's a Dance
This week on Who's that Girl our prompt was "At Bat". What is your theme song? The song that would be the song that would be played when you stepped up to the plate. This WTG challenge is a bit more creative than some! It can be a song that fits how you feel about life right now, a song that speaks to you deeply, or the song that in your fantasy world would play every time you walked into a room.

Journaling reads: If I had to choose one song that was "my" song it would be definitely this one. There is no book or manual on how to live your life the right way or which road to take. You honestly learn as you go. You take advice from your parents and actually listen to them when you get older. You learn by watching others. You learn by trial and error. Everyday is a new learning experience. Everyday is a new start and you are the one in control of how it goes. This song is my opinion is one of the best songs ever written because it speaks to me every time I hear it. August 2010.
