This week at The Everyday Scrapper the sketch came from Liz Qualman



I used one of the last kits that I got from Apron Strings for this layout of my truck during our 1st snow of the season. It was an actual snow day because we all played in the snow and got to go home early...of course by that time...the snow was over.

Am I Slacking?

I have been asking myself over the last 2 months if my not so new but semi-permanent schedule is the blame for my scrapping absence or the lack of new photos or if I am simply burnt out.

I have some new layouts to post tomorrow and this coming next week but to me they are inside my normal realm of scrapping and nothing exciting. I need some major motivation or I need to walk away for a while.

My 3rd day and I am caught up for now :)

Every Sunday at the Everyday Scrapper, we take a different sketch and put our spin on it. Some of use stay close to the sketch and others use it as a springboard into their own creations. If you haven't played along...you need too!

I used Java Bazzill, Bo Bunny Kitchen Spice PP, Gold Gel Pen, KI Memories journal spot and the chipboard letters are by Heidi Swapp.

Tennis anyone?


My girls at the tennis court in the neighborhood last summer.

I used Kraft and Vanilla Bazzill, Misc old (ancient) PP from my stash, chalk, misc journal spot, chipboard button, Heidi Grace brads, Maya Road Chipboard, paint, and the letters are The Paper Studio.

52x52 DT Layouts

Here on the 2nd day of catch up...these are my latest DT layouts for 52x52. If you haven't checked out the challenges yet - its a great way to motivate you to use things that you might not normally use together or just to scrap by getting rid of your scrapper's block.

#8 - Use pink, blue and stripes on your layout

I used Kraft cardstock, misc PP from my stash, the blue bird is traced on to a blue scrap Bazzill piece and hand cut from a KI Memories bird that was used as a template. The pink bird and the green stem are KI Memories. Brads are Heidi Grace. The letters are by American Crafts.

#9 - use 1 tag, a heart, ribbon and buttons on a layout

This man spoils me




I used White Bazzill, Cherry Arte PP, a doily that I cut the center out of, heart buttons with the shanks removed, a tag and chalk. Letters are MM tiny letters and Vinyl thickers. (I had to use the f and a t with the little hook removed)

Who's That Girl

For the next few days you will see me catching up on my DT layouts. I think that the 3 weeks of driver's ed did me in and I am behind on just about everything but especially my blog because I keep telling myself that I will do it tomorrow and here I am again with a lot of layouts to post.

Who's that Girl for Challenge #4 was to document our routines and rituals. I went with my normal daily schedule.

I used Turquoise Dot PP for a base, Bo Bunny Kitchen Spice for the color, Heidi Swapp Ghost Clock, Jenni Bowlin Chipboard button, ribbon, and chalk. Letters are MM tiny letters and Vinyl thickers.
