I am excited to share my first layout with you that I did for for Sassy Lil' Sketches. This layout is special to me because it shows my baby, Samantha as a 6th grader running for the bus on the first day of school and then as an 8th grader taking her some of her last steps before the school year ended.

Journaling reads: It seems like only yesterday you were starting 6th grade but here you are taking one of your final steps as an eighth grader. June 2010.

I used Kraft Bazzill, Autumn Leaves Composition Book PP and 7 Gypsies PP, Crate Paper scalloped trim, ribbon and Cats Eye Chalk. Letters are (of course) Chipboard Thickers.

ABC Crop - L, N, P and R

I am slowly but surely chugging along through my alphabet. I haven't scrapped so much in so long...it almost reminds me of when I first started out.

I have 4 more layouts for you from the ABC Crop at My Sketch World. As of today, I am 4 letters behind. I took yesterday off to work on my DT layouts that need to be turned in for September. Today we went to the lake, it was very peaceful.

Journaling reads: There is something about the beach that draws me in. I never get in the water but I know when it is time to go. I get an antsy feeling and I feel like I am missing something or forgetting something. I go back & forth on going for weeks only to break down and go. Then its good.

Whew - I told you it was long! Now for my news and hopefully you are still with me...I put in a DT position with My Sketch World and I heard back yesterday from Lucy.


I was asked to join the DT, I can't wait to get started! Woohoo!!! These are a great bunch of woman and I am so glad to be working with each and everyone of them!

Neurotic...me?

Yes, it is true. I am neurotic about one this more than anything in the world-My desk at work. I am so bad that when we change cleaning companies they have to tell them not to touch anything on my desk and I have a sign in English and Spanish on my desk telling them "Do not touch or move anything on my desk" - I left out the "or your life will be in jeopardy" line :)

This week for Who's that Girl, we were to put down our things that we are neurotic about. This one was easy for me!

After I took this pic, I realized how ugly my monitor is. I guess when you see it daily you kind of zone it out. After I turned in my layout for the week...we got brand new 19" flat screen monitors that match. Go figure :)

Journaling reads: When it comes to my desk at work - I am so neurotic about everything in its place and no one is supposed to touch it...but they do trying to be cute - they move it all around. It bothers me more than they know. I even have signs in English and Spanish that say...do not touch my desk.
