Already?

I am excited to share my first layout with you that I did for for Sassy Lil' Sketches. This layout is special to me because it shows my baby, Samantha as a 6th grader running for the bus on the first day of school and then as an 8th grader taking her some of her last steps before the school year ended.

This is the sketch that we worked with this week:

Journaling reads: It seems like only yesterday you were starting 6th grade but here you are taking one of your final steps as an eighth grader. June 2010.

I used Kraft Bazzill, Autumn Leaves Composition Book PP and 7 Gypsies PP, Crate Paper scalloped trim, ribbon and Cats Eye Chalk. Letters are (of course) Chipboard Thickers.

There are two sponsers this month, when you play along and link your layout to the SLS blog post you are automatically entered to win.

The Paper Sponser:

Monica will be sending our lucky winner one of her gorgeous embellishment kits!*

Regina will be lavishing the digi winner with three files from her site! You'll notice throughout the month that some of the DT members used images from her site to create their layouts/cards!

Remember, your name is entered for each layout/card you create throughout the month! Make sure you use Mister Linky to link your creation by September 5th at 11:59 p.m.!

*The paper prize is available to residents of the U.S. only. The digi prize is open to everyone!
